Dr. Segal has a proven record of delivering the highest quality eye care to his patients. We combine a caring approach with state-of-the-art technology. Patients see us for trusted second opinions and other ophthalmologists consult us on difficult cases. From routine eye exams to sight threatening emergencies, our practice provides the full spectrum of eye care.

Our team includes an optometrist and an optician, giving us the unique ability to solve the most difficult problems in-house. The optometrist examines patients for prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses, while our optician provides eyeglass solutions that are tailored to fit your needs. The ophthalmologist, optometrist and optician work as a team – approaching eye problems of all kinds from three different perspectives, delivering the best care for each individual patient.

Many medical problems can be diagnosed during an eye exam. The eye is the window to the rest of the body. Because the eye is transparent we can see inside the body and examine blood vessels and nerves. This allows us to collaborate with your other doctors to help manage health conditions, such as:

  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Cardiac disease
  • Autoimmune disease
  • Arthritis
  • Skin diseases

We make every effort to accept emergency visits the same day to ensure that urgent care is provided. Feel free to call us to make an appointment or visit our Delray Beach office. We look forward to seeing you soon!
